The compressor works as stated in literature, works well, and is quiet enough, impressively so, a little rattling from the grill but snugging up the screws fixed that. Not something I would want to carry around too often, but a great compressor that can be moved without much problem.

I haven't used this very much, but I am impressed with how quiet and solid it is. I had a Porter Cable "Pancake" oil-less unit which I ruined due to overload. I decided to get a more substancial unit.



The only prolem is that its a bit too heavy for me, but managable.I think the unit is well built and is a quality item

This is my second Mac air compressor, the previous one lasted for 15 years of professional service, it still works but I wanted something a little quieter. This unit is so quiet you can hold a cell phone convesation right beside it while its charging. It was delivered in perfect condition as well.

I have used this spray gun in a professional spray booth back in the 1970's. Held up well in a small to medium size cabinet shop. When I set up my own home shop, I was happy to see the same model was availble in 2000 when I gave up on a cheap airless sprayer (horrible quality and experience with a cheap airless sprayer). I am quite happy with this gun. I shoot polyurethane, lacquer and enamel. There are 3 adjustments that can be made to the mixture, spray pattern and amount sprayed. Takes some trial and error to get it right, but then it works fine. Needs to be run clean as paint will drip off the nozzle when the tip is partly clogged. Otherwise, when you figure the settings that work for you, this unit works well.

This product arrived in non-working/defective order and Amazon has a policy of not accepting returns on this type of equipment, yet the manufacturer refuses to take any responsibility for this defective product. I'm still trying to resolve the situation with Amazon and with Campbell Hausfeld, which by the way, keeps you waiting on their customer service line for over an hour even in off hours. I've ended up purchasing another better pressure washer from the local Home Depot that was better quality and lower price just to get the job I needed done.

In more detail, it appears that Campbell Hausfeld does not bother to properly empty the oil out of the unit, contrary to the shipping requirements of Fedex (who delivered this) and other shippers. The oil saturated the sparkplugs, air filter and other parts of the engine. I'm not engine expert so that is just one problem; I would not be surprised if there are others.

If I was a first time customer with Amazon, this would be enough to never come back, but I definitely will never ever buy anything from Campbell Hausfeld again.

I'd suggest you check with the manufacturer first before buying anything from Amazon that is not returnable, such as any gas-powered equipment, and also check prices at Home Depot - I certainly wish I had never made this purchase.
